HG Aviation has maintained a long-standing partnership with Hawaiian Airlines in Vietnam, serving as its General Sales Agent (GSA) from 2017 to 2025. Throughout this period, HG Aviation supported the airline’s commercial presence and market development through sales representation, distribution, agency engagement, reservations and ticketing coordination, fare and itinerary communication, market intelligence, and local promotional activities.
Following the integration of Hawaiian Airlines into Alaska Airlines in 2025, the partnership entered a new chapter. From 2025 to 2026, HG Aviation served as the GSA for Alaska–Hawaiian Airlines in Vietnam, supporting the combined commercial presence of both brands and helping the Vietnamese travel trade better understand connectivity through Seattle and Honolulu, with convenient onward connections across the U.S. West Coast and the wider North American network.
Through this continuous representation, HG Aviation helped maintain strong relationships with local travel agencies and partners while supporting the transition from Hawaiian Airlines to the expanded Alaska–Hawaiian network in the Vietnamese market.
Alaska Airlines required local market representation to build awareness among Vietnamese travel agencies, explain multi-carrier itineraries to the United States, support fare and ticketing enquiries, and compete in a market without nonstop Alaska-operated services.
HG Aviation provided local sales representation, agency engagement, product and itinerary communication, reservations and ticketing coordination, corporate and group development, market intelligence and promotional support focused on connections to Seattle and onward North American destinations.
